Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Unit: OB Postpartum / Labor & Delivery
- Start Date:
November 3, 2025 - End Date:
January 31, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts:
12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week - Guaranteed
Hours:
36 hours per week - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 – $2470
- Active RN license in Colorado or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN certification
- Ability to float to other healthcare units or facilities within 60 miles as needed
- Assess and monitor patients physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs in a clinical setting
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection
- Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights in the Labor & Delivery environment
- Provide patient and family education, evaluating the effectiveness of teaching
- Deliver compassionate, relationship-based nursing care that respects patient preferences and values
- Delegate tasks appropriately to non-RN healthcare personnel according to policy
- Serve as a professional role model and mentor for new staff and nursing students
- Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research activities
- Maintain accurate professional records and pursue ongoing nursing education
