A high-precision CNC machine shop on Colorado’s Front Range is seeking an experienced Multi-Axis Lathe Programmer to support continued growth and increasingly complex work. This shop is known for its commitment to quality, process improvement, and long-term customer partnerships. Key Responsibilities

• Program and optimize multi-axis CNC lathes and Swiss machines
• Develop complete machining processes from prints and/or solid models
• Create efficient tooling strategies and work holding solutions
• Support setups, first articles, and on-machine troubleshooting
• Maintain tight tolerances and consistent quality standards
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve cycle times and repeatability
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Required Experience

• 3+ years of multi-axis lathe and/or Swiss programming experience
• Experience full program writing in Mastercam or Esprit
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T comprehension
• Hands-on experience supporting machining processes at the machine
• High attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset

Preferred (Not Required)

• Live tooling and sub-spindle experience
• High-mix / low-volume or complex part environments
• ISO or quality-focused shop background

Compensation & Highlights

$40–$50 per hour based on experience
