Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all manufacturing floor operators and associates
  • Coordinate team shift schedules and daily workflow
  • Lead daily area‑specific stand‑ups (Tool Box Meetings)
  • Participate in Safety Team meetings
  • Oversee quality standards and complete QA/QC processes for all products
  • Maintain visibility and open communication with all team members
  • Prioritize issues and collaborate with leadership on solutions related to internal workflows, processes, product quality, and personnel
  • Support the development of each team member through training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Document performance management, career planning, and processes
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding of new staff, including contract employees
  • Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards across the campus
  • Evaluate operating stations to ensure optimum efficiency
  • Ensure scheduling of regular maintenance
  • Verify all work output according to QA/QC specifications
  • Identify and suggest improvement opportunities
  • Instruct new employees on safe operation of machinery
  • Enforce safety guidelines and company standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Build strong relationships and embrace people leadership
  • Dynamic written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving using data‑driven approaches
  • Proficient with mechanical operation and manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail, product quality, and safety procedures
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Computer knowledge (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and related tools
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
Education & Formal Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years direct team/people leadership
  • OSHA 10 certified (required), OSHA 30 (preferred)
Physical Requirements
  • Standing for 8–12 hour shift; able to lift 10 lbs continuously and occasionally up to 45 lbs; up to 50 lbs with machine assistance
  • Ability to use computer, keyboard, phone
  • Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, fine hand manipulation
  • Short‑distance visual acuity with ability to detect variances
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, bending, overhead reaching
Position Schedule Details
  • Pay Range: $65,000 – $75,000
  • Full‑time, exempt position
  • Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 100% on‑site
