Pay: $24.56/hr–$27.29/hr, Part‑time, Temporary.

• Associate’s Degree in natural resource management, natural sciences, park and recreation management, criminal justice, or related field.
• Two years of directly related experience (e.g., natural resource management, outdoor recreation, wildlife, fisheries, ecology, regulation enforcement, boat operations, emergency medical response).
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License (required at hire).
• First Aid/AED/CPR certification.
• OC Aerosol Spray training.
• Collapsible Baton.
• Motor Boat Operation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency desirable.

• Patrol Union Reservoir, McIntosh Lake, City parks, open space, greenways, and public lands to ensure visitor safety and resource stewardship.
• Educate the public and enforce City rules and regulations, investigate violations, and issue municipal summonses when required.
• Operate a wide range of equipment used in park and open space maintenance and management.
• Engage with visitors, provide customer service, offer direction, and assist in resolving conflicts.
• Conduct daily patrols by foot, bike, vehicle, UTV, or boat.
• Provide first aid and coordinate emergency medical responses.
• Perform boating assists and rescues.
• Inspect incoming watercraft for Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS).

• Long periods of walking and standing.
• Exposure to noise, dust, pollen, gases, oils, and occasionally herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
• High public interaction requiring strong communication skills.
• Required weekend/holiday work and flexibility in scheduling.
• Physical capability to meet all operational demands.
