The PositionThis role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys sports medicine, lameness, and preventative medicine/herd health. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or a newer graduate, you will be supported by an engaged team and modern diagnostic equipment.
Diagnostic & Medical Capabilities- Digital radiography
- Ultrasound
- Video endoscopy (upper airway and gastroscopy, if applicable)
- In‑house laboratory capabilities for rapid diagnostics
- Modern field vehicles stocked for ambulatory practice
- Access to advanced diagnostics and referral relationships when needed
- DVM or equivalent (licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado)
- Interest/skills in lameness evaluation, sports medicine, and preventative care
- Strong communication and client education skills

- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Pharmacy duties such as prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols
- Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
- Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
- Current State Veterinary License
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high‑quality veterinary care
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; may require lifting up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge in examination and assessment of animals, including cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological, and other necessary examinations
- Problem‑solving skills for challenges related to high‑quality veterinary hospital management
- Effective communication of diagnostic and therapeutic options to clients and internal staff
- Professionalism and constructive feedback within a veterinary team
- Business acumen relating to practice management and finances
- Ethical decision‑making guiding patient care
- Commitment to continuing education and facilitating learning for others
