Job Overview
- Entry level sales position supporting the DIY business, or store driver role delivering parts to commercial customers.
- Part‑time or full‑time.
- Fleet safety certification preferred.
Primary Responsibilities (Salesperson)
- Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in‑store visits and phone calls.
- Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its sales targets.
- Offer DIY services such as battery installation, wiper blade installation, and basic testing.
- Maintain store product and operational standards, including inventory processes (truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, back‑stock).
Secondary Responsibilities (Salesperson)
- Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
- Provide general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock.
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Success Factors (Salesperson)
- Basic driving and navigation ability.
- Ability to use delivery board system.
- Friendly communication skills.
- Knowledge of locating and stocking parts.
- Safety knowledge and skills.
- Proficiency with inventory systems, store equipment, POS, and parts lookup systems.
- Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service.
Essential Job Skills (Salesperson)
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
- Use basic math accurately.
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends.
Prior Experience (Salesperson)
- 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
Store Driver Overview
- Deliver parts to commercial customers, assist with task and inventory processes.
- Part‑time or full‑time.
- Must be fleet safety certified.
Primary Responsibilities (Store Driver)
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
- Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
- Pick up returns and core parts.
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
- Daily collection of credit accounts.
Secondary Responsibilities (Store Driver)
- Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
- Provide general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock.
Success Factors (Store Driver)
- Basic driving and navigation ability.
- Ability to use delivery board system.

- Proficiency with inventory systems (back‑stock) and store equipment.

Prior Experience (Store Driver)
- Automotive parts experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and fleet safety certification.
Physical Demands
- Walking or standing, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Mostly indoors; occasionally outdoors exposed to varying weather conditions while installing batteries and wiper blades.
- Exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration.
- Noise level usually moderate.

Compensation Range
15.95 USD PER HOUR – 16.95 USD PER HOUR
