Main Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and review audit engagements, primarily of daycare centers;
- Plan, execute, and review review engagements;
- Plan, execute, and review compilation engagements;
- Prepare and review personal income tax returns;
- Prepare corporate income tax returns;
- Constantly collaborate on client retention and, if interested, business development.
- Mentor and support junior team members in the execution of their engagements.
- Participate in the development of internal procedures and the continuous improvement of the firm and its management system. Quality
- Collaborate closely with partners on complex cases or special mandates (restructuring, mergers/acquisitions, estate planning, etc.)
- Designation:
CPA Auditor (required) - 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm
- Excellent command of accounting standards for private companies (ASPE) and accounting standards for not-for-profit organizations
- Comfortable working with various industries (holding companies; service and retail businesses; non-profit organizations; daycares; manufacturing and processing)
- In-depth knowledge of personal and corporate taxation
- Pleasant, frank, and open-minded personality
- Do Demonstrated excellent judgment, teamwork, and the ability to integrate easily into a group. Excellent proficiency in Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent ability to manage priorities and work independently. Client-focused and committed to quality service. Good level of spoken and written French.
