The Payroll Specialist Lead joins Remote’s Global Payroll Operations Team. You will apply global payroll best practices, SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets to improve accuracy and operational efficiency. The role also requires analytical problem-solving, English fluency, and asynchronous collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver payroll while meeting deadline and accuracy targets
- Manage Zendesk queues and address recurring ticket issues
- Optimize SOPs, checklists, and internal resources
- Provide training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
- Support clients, stakeholders, testing, and global projects
- Several years in regional or global payroll operations
- Understanding of global payroll best practices
- Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in written and spoken English
