Reporting directly to the Director, you will coordinate projects across the Cornwall to Gananoque region while ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards. Ideally, candidates have a diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management along with two years of experience in heavy civil projects, specifically with MTO exposure. This is an independent role that requires flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret contract drawings and specifications
• Monitor and report on project progress daily
• Supervise subcontractors and your own teams
• Assist in financial record keeping for project items
• Effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technician/Technology
• Over two years of practical construction experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and within teams
• Valid driver’s license required
