Hourly Teacher – Early Childhood Education Program (Course 322-273-LA)

Job Overview
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint‑Lambert requires the services of an hourly instructor to teach the course EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN (322‑273‑LA).

Responsibilities

Deliver the course online via Zoom, Moodle, LEA, Microsoft Teams, or other platforms.

Teach Monday sessions from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (except September
7).

Teach Wednesday sessions from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline with 2 years of teaching experience, or a DEC in Early Childhood Education with at least 5 years of daycare work experience.

Knowledge of balanced meals, portion sizes, and nutrition regulations applicable to children.

Proficiency in English.

Experience teaching adult clientele is strongly recommended.

Experience with online course delivery platforms such as Zoom, Moodle, LEA, and Microsoft Teams is an asset.
