Position: Certified Education Assistant at Ecole Central
Become a Certified Education Assistant at Ecole Central Elementary School, where you'll support students with diverse needs in an enriching educational environment. Engage collaboratively with teachers and contribute to student success daily.

This 4-hour per day role involves assisting teachers with program implementation, feedback, and support for students with special needs. You will work closely with the classroom team to foster integration and provide care for the students. Your contributions will include instructional support, behavior management, and creating a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering tailored educational programs

• Construct and locate instructional materials for lessons

• Operate adaptive technology and classroom equipment

• Supervise student activities and behavior according to IEPs

• Maintain records and assist in health care for students

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Education Assistant Certificate with relevant training

• Ability to manage stressful situations with calm

• Proven interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities

• WHMIS Certificate and background check required
