• Platform Management: responsible for the vision, roadmap, and full life cycle of the Tooling platform.
• Stakeholder Partnership: build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders and align solutions with business objectives.
• Project Management & Governance: plan, prioritize, and oversee the execution of minor development and enhancement projects; ensure governance for major projects.
• Team Leadership: lead, motivate, and mentor a technical team of developers; foster an environment of collaboration and technical excellence.
• Support Organization: contribute to functional support and organize an operational support structure to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications.
• Vendor Management: manage external service providers and vendors for project execution and support services.
• Governance & Standards: define and promote the use of standards, Dev Ops procedures, and design reviews to ensure solution quality and maintainability.

This position is on‑site, requiring regular attendance at the Longueuil facility.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automated Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, including team leadership, project management, or platform management roles.
• Industry Expertise: strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and tooling environments.
• Leadership: demonstrated ability to exercise influential leadership, mobilize multidisciplinary teams, and navigate complex organizational structures.
• Communication: excellent ability to simplify complex technical issues for non‑technical audiences and communicate effectively at all levels of management.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Dev Ops methodologies.
• Languages:
  
  proficiency in French and English (oral and written). The role is part of a French‑speaking work environment but requires good English for reading, understanding, and communicating with international partners.
• Compliance: selected candidate must submit to a criminal background check and obtain required clearances related to handling and transfer of controlled goods; offers are conditional upon successful completion of these checks.
