Internship dates

January 5th to April 23rd 2027

Location

The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • You will be a fully integrated member of the Legal team.
  • You will participate in reviewing various legal matters with business partners.
  • You will analyze Pratt & Whitney Canada’s rights and obligations in our commercial contracts.
  • You will draft legal opinions covering a range of issues.
  • You will collaborate with intellectual property law specialists.
  • You will take ownership of various continuous improvement projects.
  • And most importantly, you will have fun while discovering the world of aviation!
What do you need to be successful?
  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Law.
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required for this role due to operational needs and frequent interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
