Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site position for an Analyst – Estimation & Manufacturing Processes (Experienced Machinist) for our client Pratt & Whitney. Are you an experienced machinist with strong technical insight and a passion for process optimization? If you enjoy combining hands‑on knowledge with analytical work, this role is for you!

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Cost & Process Analyst to support cost estimates, process planning, and supplier negotiations for complex engine module components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate manufacturing and assembly costs for engine modules
  • Analyze technical drawings to determine fabrication processes
  • Define optimal raw material and machining strategies to reduce cost
  • Build Catia V5 3D models to assess machining volumes and dimensions
  • Select cutting parameters and validate machining cycle times
  • Prepare and lead production cost negotiations with partners
  • Participate in team meetings to develop negotiation strategies
  • Manage and issue cost reports

    Support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Technical diploma in manufacturing + 5–10 years in machining or methods
  • OR Engineering degree (mechanical, manufacturing, etc.) + 5–8 years experience
  • Hands‑on machining experience
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Assets: aerospace, methods agent experience, composites, additive manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Catia V5 (3D modelling)
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings (GD&T)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    , especially Excel
  • VBA knowledge is an asset
  • Bilingual (English & French)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of turbine engine configuration is an asset
