BPA is seeking a Director of Structural Engineering to guide the structural engineering team in Gatineau and Outaouais. This role demands a minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience, including leadership responsibilities. You will foster team growth, manage project compliance, and drive business development while shaping the next generation of structures in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and lead the structural engineering team

• Validate designs and structural calculations for various materials

• Oversee interdisciplinary coordination among teams

• Ensure adherence to the Québec Building Code and CSA standards

• Prepare technical specifications and reports, maintaining client relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Building Engineering, structural option

• Active member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)

• At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering

• Proficient in design software (ETABS, SAP
2000, etc.)

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
