EHS Specialist

Position: EHS Specialist Role
Drive environmental, health, and safety improvement as the EHS Specialist at Allegion in Longueuil, QC. Oversee compliance, develop EHS programs, and provide training to all employees.

In this vital role, you will report directly to the Production Director. Your primary responsibilities involve implementing comprehensive prevention programs, monitoring EHS performance, and leading investigations into incidents. You'll work on analyzing EHS data, conducting audits, and ensuring communication across the organization for a robust safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS prevention programs annually

• Monitor EHS performance using KPIs and metrics

• Conduct inspections and audits for compliance

• Analyze trends and opportunities for improvement

• Deliver EHS training programs across employee groups

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science

• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing

• Strong communication and training skills

• Bilingual in English and French Canadian

• Advanced knowledge of EHS regulations and methodologies
