What you need to succeed DEC in Aeronautics or DEC in Mechanical Engineering
Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in inspection
Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical mindset
High autonomy and resourcefulness
Pass theoretical and practical examinations
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (mathematical functions of Microsoft Excel in particular)
Ability to work in a team and communicate with various stakeholders
This position is in a French‑speaking work environment; however it requires functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may come from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with clients, suppliers or international colleagues.
Assets Knowledge of SAP
Proficiency in Catia V5
Proficiency with Cosmos and Calypso software for CMM
Knowledge of ISO 10012 and 17025 standards
What your day will look like Responsibilities:
Inspect templates, gauges and tools used to manufacture and assemble turbine engines
Calibrate, adjust, program and use high‑precision measuring devices, both on the production floor and in a controlled environment (temperature, lighting…)
Determine optimal verification methods based on drawings, computer software and various inspection documents
Make precision adjustments to ensure compliance with standards
Calibrate various devices such as CMMs and balancing machines using appropriate equipment
Perform mathematical calculations involving trigonometry and geometry
Write inspection reports related to equipment verification and calibration
Participate in knowledge sharing
Occasional travel to other P&W facilities
