Step into a pivotal role at Pratt & Whitney Canada as the Advanced Industrialization Lead, where you’ll shape sourcing and manufacturing strategies for next-gen aircraft engines. This position is exclusively on-site in Longueuil and requires a proactive, strategic approach.
In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee sourcing activities and optimize manufacturing processes for high-performance aerospace components. Collaborate with multi-site teams and suppliers to execute risk mitigation plans while ensuring production readiness. Your engagement throughout the product lifecycle will be crucial to maintain high-quality standards and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee sourcing activities for new engine components
• Develop dual-sourcing strategies to enhance supply chain resilience
• Negotiate agreements for product pricing and development
• Engage suppliers in optimizing design and manufacturability
• Monitor Factory Standard Costs with Engineering teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies
• Proven ability in project management and risk assessment
• Familiarity with industry standards and norms for production readiness
