The Support to operation Design organisation is a young team working in a very dynamic environment. The variety in daily tasks, components and engine families covered by our team allows to see the turbo machine and the design process as a whole.

• Design modifications that will resolve producibility challenges on turbo machinery components.
• Perform thorough engineering evaluations of non-conforming material.
• Support outsourcing activities by defining and executing substantiation plans for components manufactured by new suppliers.
• Initiate design modifications for cost reductions.

• Be eligible to work in Canada. Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
• Pursue studies in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken / written). French is an asset.
• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
• Project management skills.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
