Electrical Works Supervisor

Your Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a director or electrical engineer, you will be required to:

Analyze and interpret plans and specifications from various disciplines (architecture, structure, mechanical, civil engineering, electrical);

Review shop drawings and technical specifications, and follow up on approvals and acceptances;

Compare technical documents to work completed on-site and provide necessary clarifications to contractors;

Monitor the work and prepare reports in accordance with standards;

Formulate recommendations regarding work acceptance and follow up with stakeholders;

Propose solutions to technical problems encountered and monitor their implementation;

Manage change requests and negotiate prices with contractors;

Participate in site meetings, monitor schedules, and prepare minutes when required;

Desired Profile:

5 to 7 years of experience in building electrical work;

Good knowledge of the Electrical Code and the Building Code;

Excellent command of spoken and written French;

Ability to interpret plans and specifications (architecture, structure, civil engineering, mechanical engineering);

Team spirit and report writing skills;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office;

Versatility, autonomy, strong communication and negotiation skills;

Vehicle and valid driver’s license (travel within the Greater Montreal area).
