Overview

Constellation Real Estate Group, a division of Constellation Software (TSX:

CSU), is seeking a Director of Finance to manage management accounts, accounting compliance, financial reporting and analysis across its portfolio of companies. The role involves leading an offshore team, aligning the business with standard best practices and systems, and supporting fast‑paced growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall P&L and full‑cycle accounting processes, including invoicing, collections, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Build and integrate a finance team with the corporate accounting and finance integration group.
  • Provide insights on forecast variances, KPIs, and financial performance to the management team.
  • Serve as trusted finance advisor to senior leadership and functional leaders.
  • Oversee credit agreements, debt covenants, and forecasting cycles.
  • Run disciplined accounts receivable management, with weekly updates and escalation procedures.
  • Support the President and management on quarterly strategic reviews.
  • Collaborate across units for best practices and synergies.
  • Lead and develop offshore resources, providing coaching and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive ad‑hoc projects.

Technical and Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of F&PA experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of people‑management experience.
  • Experience managing offshore teams.
  • Experience with credit agreement management and debt covenant reporting.
  • Strong prioritization and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Great Plains or similar ERP experience is a plus.
  • Financial knowledge in software/IT, including IFRS‑15 and acquisition accounting.
  • University degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to the US and offshore locations.
