- Your Newpany Our client, a well‑known public‑sector organization, is currently seeking an Intermediate Project Controller (PCO) for a twelve (12)‑month mandate, with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Longueuil, within a hybrid work environment (remote + on‑site), for a 35‑hour workweek.
Your New Role As an Intermediate PCO, you will play a key role in coordinating, monitoring, and controlling project financials. You will work closely with municipal project managers to ensurepliance, schedule tracking, and budget accuracy. Your responsibilities include:

Developing the work plan and financial plan required for each project.

Performing rigorous project budget monitoring in ongoing collaboration with project managers.

Controlling and tracking financial factors and work plan milestones.

Identifying budget variances and rmending improvement solutions.

Validating project‑related costs and ensuring theyply with approved budgets.

Reporting any concerns related to deadlines, risks, or expected oues.

Ensuring all activities are carried out according to deadlines, budgets, and approved decisions.

Ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability of all collected information.

What You Need to Succeed To excel in this role, you must have:

Between three (3) and ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management or project control.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business administration, project management, or a related field.

Strong analytical, organizational, andmunication skills.

Excellent ability to track budgets, analyze variances, and manage multiple files simultaneously.
