Senior Content Developer

• Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for designated functional areas of Acumatica ERP according to corporate style guidelines and team processes
• Keep documentation and training materials up to date with software releases
• Revise legacy content to align with current standards and best practices
• Design and develop training courses and skill assessments for different learner personas
• Use AI-assisted tools to draft, restructure, summarize, edit, and review documentation and training materials while ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify user scenarios and information gaps
• Resolve learner issues related to documentation and training content and provide solutions and recommendations
• Review UI labels and messages for accuracy and consistency
• Continuously improve team standards, processes, and tools
• Assume the rotating Doc Watcher role
• Serve as an entry point for external communication for the team
• Triage incoming product-change requests requiring documentation
• Maintain the team’s working environment

• A degree in English, technical writing, communications, or computer science or alternative credentials (preferred)
• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing, content development, or instructional design in the software industry (required)
• Experience using AI-assisted writing, editing, research, or productivity tools to support technical content development, instructional design, or content analysis (required)
• Expertise in any of the industries Acumatica specializes in (preferred)
• Prior teaching or training experience (preferred)
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with ability to express thoughts in English clearly, logically, and concisely (required)
• Advanced user of tools used for content creation, version control, and project and task management (required)
• Knowledge of Acumatica ERP (preferred)
• Self-motivated to create high-quality content when specifications are in progress or unavailable
• Ability to communicate positively and forge effective working relationships with Acumatica team members
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Bamboo
• Familiarity with task/bug tracking tools such as Jira
• Familiarity with database management tools such as SQL Management Studio
• Familiarity with content development tools such as Oxygen XML Editor, Snagit, and Lucidchart
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content development and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Claude Cowork, and MS Copilot

Demonstrates expertise in technical writing and content development, with a strong focus on creating clear documentation and training materials for Acumatica ERP. Proficient in using AI-assisted tools and advanced content creation software to enhance documentation accuracy and effectiveness.
