• Drive business development by prospecting, generating leads, and converting new commercial clients
• Assess insurance needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions
• Market risks to insurers, negotiate terms, and secure competitive coverage and pricing
• Provide proactive service including coverage guidance, endorsements, claims coordination, and timely communication
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across various industries while collaborating with internal service teams to deliver seamless service
• Stay informed on market trends, insurer appetites, and product changes to best advise clients
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance using Applied Systems (Epic) and internal workflows

• A level 2 Alberta Insurance Licence or above
• 1 year of experience as a commercial insurance broker

• Additional insurance licences and/or relevant experience
• Experience with Applied Systems (Epic)
• Proficiency in insurance company portals
