Role Overview
The Indirect Procurement team provides goods and services that support all business operations. As a Commodity Manager – Indirect Procurement, you will lead high‑visibility spend categories, negotiate key contracts, and create sustainable value for the company.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

Design, lead, and implement advanced procurement strategies for high‑visibility spend categories, deploying a strategic negotiation approach to secure maximum value and long‑term alignment.

Drive cost‑saving initiatives and act as a catalyst for change, transforming data into new commodity opportunities and delivering impactful presentations to senior executives.

Serve as a premier relationship builder to cultivate high‑trust partnerships with key suppliers; manage complex contract life cycles and negotiate agreements that mitigate risk, ensure optimal performance, and stimulate mutual innovation.

Develop and execute critical procurement projects by leveraging modern technologies, AI tools, and project‑management methodologies to streamline processes and uncover structural efficiencies.

Partner with procurement teams across Raytheon Technologies to influence, drive alignment, and maximize corporate synergies; mentor team members to foster a high‑performance culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, law, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in strategic procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and executing high‑stakes negotiations.

Master’s degree (MBA or MS) is an asset.

Experience leveraging AI to optimize procurement workflows and data analysis.

Strong background in customer‑relationship management or PMO‑style methodologies.

Change‑leadership experience: demonstrated ability to act as a change agent, lead strategic initiatives, influence stakeholders, and inspire cross‑functional teams.

Strategic and negotiation mindset: ability to align complex procurement negotiations and long‑term strategies with broader organizational goals.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build productive and influential relationships with internal business units and external strategic partners.

Contract and project expertise: proficiency in project‑management principles and advanced contract negotiation, with a deep understanding of key legal terms and commercial conditions.

Data‑analysis and problem‑solving skills to drive operational excellence.

Fluent in English and French, at professional level for drafting and negotiating written agreements.
