Category Manager for Sourcing

Position: Category Manager for Sourcing at Agropur
Become a key player at Agropur as a Category Manager in Strategic Sourcing. This role focuses on developing ingredient sourcing strategies, driving innovation and ensuring business continuity.

You will manage the procurement of both dairy and non-dairy ingredients, strategically aligning with Agropur’s overarching goals. With at least five years of experience, including two in category management, you will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to identify opportunities that yield significant operational efficiencies. Your expertise will be crucial to negotiate contracts, ensuring value-driven relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement long-term sourcing strategies for ingredients

• Generate annual savings through supplier negotiations

• Finalize contracts with key suppliers for stable sourcing

• Collaborate with R&D on projects for added consumer value

• Monitor market trends to inform sourcing decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree;
Master’s is an asset

• Minimum five years in strategic procurement

• At least two years in category management

• Fluent in French and English

• Strong analytical abilities and Microsoft Office proficiency
