Position: Class I Caretaker at REACH Berkley
Location: Saint-Lambert

REACH Berkley School is hiring a Class I Caretaker for the  school year in Saint-Lambert, QC. Join us in maintaining a hygienic facility for students with medical needs.

This position tasks you with ensuring high cleanliness standards in areas that require strict infection control. Your day-to-day activities will include inspecting essential building services and performing minor repairs. You will also oversee non-specialized staff, maintain records, and ensure safe disposal of cleaning products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure overall cleanliness of the establishment routinely

• Supervise the work of non-specialized maintenance staff

• Inspect and maintain systems like heating and lighting

• Conduct minor repairs and upkeep as necessary

• Prepare classrooms and common areas for student use

Requirements:

• At least three years of maintenance experience

• General knowledge of heating and ventilation operations

• Basic familiarity with construction trades is preferred

• Ability to communicate fluently in English and French

• Possession of a valid driver's license and vehicle
