Specific expectations for this role encompass the following requirements and duties:
Job Responsibilities
- General Cleaning: Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, and elevators.
- Restroom Maintenance: Restock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
- Surface Upkeep: Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, and clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Waste Management: Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Supply Management: Ensure cleaning supplies are stored in a safe, secure area and use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to protocol.
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of job-related janitorial or cleaning experience.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive, reliable mindset. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
