Position Overview  Gauge & Metrology Planner/Inspector – Full‑time, day shift, Monday to Friday, on‑site at Longueuil (Canada).

Key Responsibilities   Responsible for multiple projects or a variety of tasks within the functional discipline.
Contribute significantly to the team by applying expertise within the field.
Work with minimal to moderate supervision on short‑ and medium‑term projects.
Ensure the quality and reliability of measurement instruments used in production.
Specific Responsibilities   Analyze non‑conformances and support various PWC facilities with standard and non‑standard gauges, work procedures, and the reassessment of reinspection cycles.
Support production planners in the development and enhancement of metrology functions.
Provide metrology support for advanced manufacturing centers.
Lead the implementation of the ISO
10012 standard within the dimensional metrology laboratory.
Support the team responsible for defining measurement equipment uncertainty calculations.
Establish and monitor compliance with international metrology quality standards.
Coordinate internal and external audits related to dimensional gauge management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for business processes related to the metrology laboratory and measurement instrument management.
Review and update internal work instructions (GSTIs) for inspectors.
Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing of mechanical components, including gauge inspection.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
General knowledge of metrology, with experience as a Gauge Inspector.
Knowledge of measurement and test equipment calibration (asset).
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives (asset).
Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms.
