Job Title  Industrial Painter – Aluminum and Sheet Metal (Peintre industriel – Aluminium et tôle)

Job Description  You play a key role in the design and manufacturing of high-performance HVAC systems by painting aluminum and sheet metal parts. Vous jouez un rôle clé dans la conception et la fabrication de systèmes CVC de haute performance en réalisant la peinture de pièces en aluminium et en tôle.
Responsibilities   Prepare aluminum and sheet metal surfaces, including sanding, grinding, masking, and cleaning prior to painting.
Paint small and large parts using a gravity‑feed spray gun, following established procedures.
Set up and adjust painting equipment and spray parameters to achieve a uniform, high‑quality finish.
Inspect painted parts visually and correct defects when necessary.
Read and interpret drawings and work instructions to understand finishing requirements.
Measure and verify part dimensions using imperial, metric, and decimal measurement systems.
Use hand tools and power tools (such as a tape measure, cordless drill, and preparation tools) safely and effectively.
Work at heights when required, using lifelines or aerial platforms in accordance with safety rules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the painting and preparation zones.
Collaborate closely with the production team to meet deadlines and priorities.
Apply health and safety procedures at all times while performing tasks.
Essential Skills   

Experience with gravity‑feed spray painting and confidence using this type of equipment.
Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle parts of various sizes.
Ability to read, understand, and work with imperial, metric, and decimal measurement systems.
Ability to use a tape measure and small tools, including a cordless drill.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
Good knowledge of French, both spoken and written.
Ability to work at heights using a lifeline or aerial platform.
Robust attention to detail and a high level of precision in finishing.
Team‑oriented mindset with flexibility to support different production tasks.
Additional

Skills and Qualifications   Experience in fabrication, production, or assembly in an industrial environment.
Experience using hand tools and power tools in a workshop or manufacturing setting.
Ability to organize work methodically and manage multiple parts at different stages of preparation.
Willingness to work different shifts, including day or evening shifts.
Proactive approach to workplace health and safety.

Work Environment  You work in a new, modern plant that has been in operation for about one year, with clean, well‑maintained facilities and up‑to‑date equipment. L’environnement est propre, sécuritaire et orienté vers la production de systèmes CVC de haute performance. The position offers a day shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., and an evening shift from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Job Type & Location  Contract to Hire, Longueuil, QC.
Pay and Benefits  Pay range: $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
Workplace Type  Fully onsite in Longueuil, QC.
