Location & Working Hours The position is based at our Longueuil facility, Monday to Friday, exclusively on-site.
Responsibilities Supervise the production of critical components (turbine disks, integrated bladed rotors) for GTF (PW1000/800) engines in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and timely execution of activities in a dynamic, unionized shop.
Lead and coach a team of versatile operators across multiple shifts to achieve high levels of efficiency, collaboration, and performance to meet monthly production targets.
Be accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Lead investigations in collaboration with technical teams in cases of equipment failures, automation, robotics, or quality issues.
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects with supporting engineering teams to optimize the performance of the automated production line.
Support new product introduction into production with manufacturing engineering teams, ensuring a smooth transition.
Collaborate with logistics and quality teams to ensure proactive coordination with external suppliers.
Provide regular updates to management on project status, deliveries, and operational challenges, demonstrating proactive prioritization.
Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to support frontline needs and effectively manage shift transitions.
Contribute to budget planning and implementation processes to support growth and operational capacity.
Be available to work outside regular hours as needed to meet the demands of a fast-paced production environment.
Qualifications DEC or Bachelor's degree with 5 to 10 years of experience.
Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Power BI).
