Position: Internship - Fall 2026 - Manufacturing Engineer
Overview  Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a global leader in the aerospace industry, headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec. We manufacture next-generation engines that power a wide range of aircraft and helicopters. Internship dates:
August 31 to December 18, 2026.

Location:

Longueuil, on-site, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
Internship Details  The main goal of the internship is to acquire, organize, and document manufacturing knowledge and experience from Manufacturing Analysts (MA) and Engineers (ME) to facilitate training. The student will be assigned to a few MAs and MEs to help document their critical knowledge. This will take the form of documents, videos, and drawings used for training purposes. The student will gather information and produce training materials in collaboration with the assigned experts.

Candidates will also be asked to perform side-by-side comparisons for transition projects.
Responsibilities   Coordinate and perform comparative studies for parts subject to resourcing activities.
Participate in the creation of knowledge transfer documents.
Assist manufacturing specialists with a variety of tasks.
What you need to be successful    Must haves:  Be eligible to work in Canada; be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship; be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
Pursuing a degree in mechanical, aerospace, industrial and manufacturing engineering.
Assets:
Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities; manufacturing, metrology, or machining skills.
Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms, and to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
