Why Join Our Team?
We are seeking an experienced, technically proactive and highly cross‑functional Advanced Industrialisation Lead to define sourcing and manufacturing strategies and deliver new sustainable components, engine assembly, and testing. The role demands a strategic, risk‑based mindset and the ability to innovate across global supply chains in a highly regulated environment.

Sourcing & Manufacturing Strategy

Lead sourcing and manufacturing activities for engine components, modules, assemblies, testing, and tooling systems supporting new engine programs.

Define make, buy or partner strategies based on technical, operational and industrial requirements.

Identify, assess and develop suppliers, partners and advanced manufacturing technologies (precision casting, superalloy machining, coatings, additive manufacturing).

Develop dual‑ and multi‑sourcing strategies and collaborate on risk mitigation plans to ensure supply chain resilience.

Strategic Negotiations & Partnerships

Lead negotiations of long‑term agreements for future production awards.

Negotiate product pricing, non‑recurring costs, development schedules, repair and overhaul agreements, tooling and contractual terms.

Partner with internal teams to develop risk‑sharing models for industrial development projects.

Industrial Readiness & Manufacturing Optimization

Engage suppliers, partners and internal sites early in the product development cycle to optimise design, manufacturability, assembly, testing and overall cost (DfC, DFM, DFA).

Establish and monitor Factory Standard Costs with Engineering and Cost Control teams, identifying improvement opportunities.

Monitor industrial validation milestones (FAI, PPAP, other production readiness activities).

Ensure suppliers, partners and sites have Manufacturing Readiness Level plans, capacity, capabilities and resources for program milestones and production ramp‑up.

Identify capital investment requirements related to tooling, special processes, testing infrastructure and new technologies, and support development of business cases.

Support Technology Readiness Level and Manufacturing Readiness Level assessments for new technologies.

Program Governance & Production Readiness

Collaborate with Advanced Industrialization leadership, Operations Program Excellence, Industrial Engineering and Program teams to plan and execute RLPM gate deliverables and production readiness activities.

Ensure production plans and operational readiness activities align with program schedules and objectives.

Project Management & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Assembly & Test, Aftermarket and Program Management teams within Integrated Product Teams to support development and industrialisation of new components and engines.

Serve as the primary Advanced Industrialisation point of contact for suppliers, partners and internal sites.

Coordinate program requirements, schedules, deliverables and expectations across all stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.

The position requires frequent travel and variable work schedules to support suppliers, partners and sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or supply chain management.

10+ years of experience in supply‑chain management, aerospace engine component manufacturing, industrialisation or comparable high‑specification industry.

Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes (casting, machining, coatings, additive manufacturing), materials and processes (Inconel,…
