Position:
Senior Manager Manufacturing Engineering
Location:
Longueuil, QC, Canada (On-site, Monday-Friday, flexible hours)
Responsibilities Lead teams across engine centers to provide technical support for all Canadian centers.
Oversee process planning (methods) integrating design changes and deploying technology projects (test automation, torque measuring system, induction, moving line).
Manage Assembly & Test Technical Support (ATTS) teams covering all shifts.
Coordinate with offshore partner supporting large process planning initiatives.
Project manage organization‑wide products and communicate with internal customers.
Define vision and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.
Maintain governance for standardization, alignment, and readiness of new engine centerlines.
Support new product introduction and digital transformation of planning and manufacturing activities.
Qualifications 10+ years relevant experience in project management, operations, engineering, or manufacturing process management.
Proven engaging and influential leadership.
Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Ability to coach and develop teams.
Familiarity with digital platforms for data processing.
Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple mandates and projects.
Strong relationship building with all levels of management.
Decision‑making and relational skills; influence as change agent.
Strategic thinking, synthesis, and process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform under high pressure and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Adaptability, autonomy, and positive attitude.
Functional English reading and writing capability for technical documentation.
