Production Controller

MRP Controller / Tooling Coordinator | Aerospace Manufacturing

We're looking for a technically minded MRP Controller / Tooling Coordinator to support the end-to-end management of custom tooling used in aircraft engine manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on or technical experience in machining, CNC, toolmaking, tooling, or machine-shop operations who is interested in combining that knowledge with project coordination and supplier management.

• Manage custom tooling from initial request through manufacturing, inspection, delivery, repair, and return
• Interpret 2D/3D drawings, tolerances, materials, and tooling specifications
• Coordinate with machine shops, CNC teams, toolmakers, CMM inspection teams, and suppliers
• Communicate technical requirements and work instructions to external suppliers
• Resolve questions involving tolerances, clearances, deviations, and manufacturing challenges
• Track tooling projects, milestones, priorities, and delivery schedules
• Coordinate tooling shipments, repairs, returns, and logistics
  
  Collaborate with manufacturing and shop-floor teams to resolve technical issues
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization

• 1+ year of experience in machining, tooling, CNC, manufacturing, toolmaking, machine shops, or a related technical environment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
• Knowledge of machining processes and how custom tooling/components are fabricated
• Strong project coordination and supplier communication skills
• Fully bilingual in French and English

Compensation:

$25/hr to $35/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

• Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
