Plant Administrator

Our client a major manufacturer office office furniture in the GTA is seeking a administrator to help with their busy operation.

• Work with Specials department Leadhands to Maintain and prioritize the daily shipping list.
• Update completion of rush orders and parts that need to be sent out for additional processing with outside suppliers.
• Enter production orders into the system and print shipping tags for each item.
• Check stock is up to date and inform cycle counter to make adjustments in the system as required.
• Supply and distribute the pre-shift checklist and daily production sheets for all the machines.
• Backup for Leadhands
• Perform all other duties reasonable to the position, as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

• Proficient computer knowledge and skills (Word, Excel, Google, BAAN)
• High degree of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Good decision making skills
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Detail-orientated
• Identify and report any hazard(s) in their workplace
• Consistently follows EHS general rules and procedures and is aware of the EHS policy and Quality requirements
• Demonstrates good initiative for working safely, reporting hazards, and participating in EHS.

Pay $20 per hour
