Provide vital nursing care for patients with complex mental health needs at Providence Care Hospital. This temporary full-time role enhances patient independence through professional nursing practices.
As a Registered Nurse at Providence Care Hospital, you will deliver direct nursing care for patients in acute psychiatric settings. Your experience and skills will help ensure positive patient outcomes while collaborating with clinical teams and supporting families. This position emphasizes patient-centered care, autonomy, and a commitment to promoting wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete nursing histories using patient and family information
• Develop and document goal-oriented care plans
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Follow prescribed medical regimes accurately
• Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting
• BSc.N. preferred
• CPR certification must be current
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills
