Nurse Practitioner

Position: Nurse Practitioner at Kwanlin Dün First Nation
Deliver primary health care as a Nurse Practitioner with Kwanlin Dün First Nation at Natsékhi Kų̀ Health Centre. Drive culturally safe, trauma-informed care for community members and families.

KDFN Health & Wellness seeks qualified Nurse Practitioners to enhance access to holistic medical services. This position demands strong clinical judgment and includes assessing, diagnosing, treating, and providing follow-up care across the lifespan.

You'll work with in a collaborative Medical Home Model supporting continuous care and preventive health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose clients across all age groups

• Develop comprehensive care plans and provide treatments

• Manage medications through prescribing and follow-up

• Promote health awareness and preventive care strategies

• Collaborate with community supports and Health Centre staff

Requirements:

• Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner Stream or equivalent

• Recent primary care experience in a healthcare setting

• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

• Registration eligibility with Yukon Registered Nurses Association

• Proof of professional liability insurance
