Join RONA as a Lumber Yard Associate and leverage your knowledge of building materials to assist customers with their projects. This role includes loading products safely and maintaining an organized workspace.
As a valued member of the lumberyard team at RONA, you will provide expert advice and assistance to customers seeking lumber and building materials. Key responsibilities include helping customers load products, checking invoices, and ensuring daily upkeep of the department. You’ll also contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice on lumber and building materials
• Assist customers in efficiently loading products
• Verify invoices and ensure correct items are provided
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization
• Perform opening and closing duties in the yard
Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Knowledge of building materials is beneficial
