Customer service and safe loading define this Lot Associate role at The Home Depot, supporting customers with project needs and vehicle loading.
The Lot Associate is often the first and last Associate customers meet. You will follow the GET Model, maintain carts, ask project questions, and help load merchandise safely. The position requires effective communication, customer focus, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet, engage, and thank customers using Home Depot’s GET Model
- Maintain sufficient carts near the store entrance
- Ask open-ended project questions to determine customer needs
- Help load products into vehicles and shopping carts
- Plan safe merchandise loading according to Safe Loading Training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of retail experience
- Effective communication and customer-focused approach
- Interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, and move items
