Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you passionate about creating seamless logistics experiences for customers? We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys finding proactive, effective solutions to complex supply chain challenges — particularly in sea freight.

As part of our dynamic on-site logistics team, you’ll manage daily shipment activities, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure every shipment moves efficiently from origin to destination. Your attention to detail, sense of urgency, and commitment to excellence will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational success.

We offer a great work environment, a competitive salary, a profit-sharing program, paid time off (PTO), and group benefits fully paid by the employer*.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of shipments throughout their full lifecycle — from planning to delivery.
  • Monitor and control transportation costs, ensuring accurate billing and revenue tracking.
  • Plan, oversee, and intervene proactively to meet customer expectations.
  • Verify all documentation according to internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding shipment progress.
  • Review vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate approvals.
  • Promote OEC’s corporate culture and customer service philosophy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve knowledge and skills related to shipment handling.
  • Support the enhancement of internal systems and processes to meet market and service standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in using logistics systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French — required due to the international nature of our business and our need to serve clients and partners in multiple markets.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Accountability and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of collaboration and shared success.
