We are seeking an experienced and motivated Child Care Director to lead the daily operations of our childcare center in Longview, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and a thorough understanding of Texas childcare licensing regulations.

• Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center
• Ensure compliance with Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) childcare licensing standards
• Supervise, train, and support teaching and administrative staff
• Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for children and staff
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and curriculum standards
• Maintain accurate records, enrollment files, and staff documentation
• Communicate effectively with families and build strong parent partnerships
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational needs
• Lead staff meetings, evaluations, and professional development

• Director qualifications as required by Texas Child Care Licensing (HHSC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a licensed childcare facility
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage staff, multitask, and problem-solve effectively
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check clearance required

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Experience with enrollment management and family engagement
• Familiarity with childcare management software
