Position: Crossing Creeks Country Club / Cart Attendant

Overview

Cross Creeks County Club (CCCC) offers a fun and positive atmosphere where our members and guests can enjoy golf, racquet sports, or go for a swim. CCCC is located in Longview, TX and will be expanding recreational activities throughout the summer. Find us on Facebook and check out our progress! Cross Creeks Country Club (CCCC) has an immediate need for Cart Attendant
. This will be a full-time non-exempt position, with a schedule ranging from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM with up to 40 hours and weekends required.

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities for Cart Attendant

  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
  • Assist with checking in golf members and guests
  • Ensure and maintain a constant supply of cleaned carts for golfers
  • Clean carts
  • Perform superficial maintenance on carts
  • Pick up and wash range balls as needed
  • Complete required checklists for golfers as requested by Club Supervisor (e.g., fill sand bottles on the first tee, manage water coolers, basic course trash pickup)
  • Coordinate members’ needs and assist members as requested
  • Report issues to the Club Supervisor immediately and follow the chain of command
  • Show leadership and direction with co-workers and other staff
  • Communicate appropriately with members, guests and co-workers
  • Greet all members and guests as they enter the courts in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Adhere to Crossing Creeks Country Club policies, procedures and customer service standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment
  • Cover Cart Staff and Field Marshall duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
  • Requires full range of body motion
  • Standing and maneuvering independently and safely around work area
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Eye-hand coordination
  • Pushing and pulling
  • Climbing (ascending and descending)
  • Bending / Stooping
  • Using arm, leg and back muscles for extended periods
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing greater than 50 pounds
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to within normal range
  • Potential for cuts and bruises
Requirements
  • Displays a positive attitude and passion for Crossing Creeks Country Club
  • Customer service experience
  • Critical thinking skills; ability to work autonomously and manage time/resources efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with compassion for all members, guests, and staff; ability to communicate calmly under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills
  • Meeting performance expectations and accountability
  • Integrity and responsibility
  • Flexibility to meet scheduling demands of department
  • Able to work unsupervised; ability to take initiative and work as a team member or independently
  • Remain current with organization policies, procedures, and systems
  • Demonstrated competency in position responsibilities within 90 days, as evaluated by Supervisor
  • Maintain TABC/food handling license requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
