Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonary/Critical Care physician for locum coverage this fall and winter. This is a great chance to step into a busy inpatient practice with APP support, manageable patient volumes, and flexible short-term scheduling.

• Schedule:

  • In-house 7a 7p

  • On-call 7p 7a with 30-minute response time

• Coverage Dates:

  • Nov 17 (7a) Nov 21 (7a)

  • Nov 28 (7a) Nov 30 (7a)

  • Jan 18 (7a) Jan 23 (7a)

• Patient Volume: 15 patients per shift

• Admissions: 3 per 24 hrs

• Rounding: Both ICU and floor

• Support Staff: 4 APPs onsite

• Privileges: Temporary privileges available

• Board Certification: Required in Pulmonary/Critical Care

• Fellowship: Required

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, IPL can help with this!

• Licensure: Active Texas license (no IMLC accepted)

• EMR: Athena/Medhost

• Other: Must supervise APPs

• Trauma Level III

• Pediatric Level III

• 26-bed department

• Stroke-certified hospital
