Acuren is seeking an experienced Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II Technician to join our team in Longview, Texas

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking an experienced Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II Technician to join our team in Longview, Texas. This full‑time position offers an opportunity to work with industry‑leading inspection professionals while supporting critical industrial and energy infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will perform a variety of NDT methods with a focus on radiographic testing, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment.
  • Conduct inspections using approved NDT methods to detect discontinuities and ensure quality compliance.
  • Apply and interpret testing criteria per applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Analyze radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and other indicators.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of test results.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and used safely.
  • Perform specialized inspections and support project‑specific testing as required.
  • Provide guidance or training to junior personnel as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • Valid NDT Level II certification in accordance with SNT‑TC‑1A or equivalent.
  • Proven technical background in NDT methods, procedures, and radiographic interpretation.
  • Experience with setup, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Preferred:
  • Additional Level II certifications in other NDT disciplines (UT, MT, PT).
  • Prior experience in industrial inspection environments such as refineries, pipelines, or power generation.
