Engineering Manager, New Product and Process
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the New Product and Process Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team that designs, develops, validates, releases and launches new products and processes, specifically focused on wheel‑end components and processes related to assembly and manufacturing of product lines. They gather VOC from key stakeholders and manage the pipeline that leads the introduction of these new products/processes for the organization, supporting future visions for production and customer support for wheel‑end products.

- Establish & track program goals to ensure adequate planning/scheduling of manpower & resources to satisfy identified project execution.
- Report progress of program goals, communicating risks, opportunities & status of design project against established milestones.
- Work with commercial, external customers, industry organization (TMC/SAE), operations, and supply teams to gather VOC for new product/process pipeline vision.
- Talent management of team using tools such as individual development plans, skills matrix, and business evaluation tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum requirement of BS Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical credentials.
- 5 years minimum in experience in technical supervisory role, creating department vision and hiring talent.
- 5 years of project management experience in new product/process development.
- 5 years of experience in supplier evaluation and following ISO Quality standards in supplier approval and product/process releases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including both verbal and written communication.
- Able to work dynamically in a cross‑functional environment.
- Mentor and coach team to be able to develop specifications, proposals, and present them effectively within the organization.
- Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office 365 software.
- 5 years of experience in seal design or commercial vehicle industry (preferred).
- Working knowledge of Solid Works (preferred).
