Longview Rehabilitation Hospital is a 36-bed inpatient rehab facility located at 701 E Loop 281 in Longview, Texas. It specializes in helping patients recover from serious illnesses or injuries that have impacted their ability to function independently.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive Inpatient Rehab
  :
  Offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions.
• Intensive Therapy Model
  :
  Patients receive at least three hours of therapy per day, five days a week, under the supervision of a rehabilitation physician and 24-hour rehab nursing.
• Personalized Care Plans
  :
  Treatment is tailored to each patient’s goals, with a focus on restoring independence and transitioning safely back home.

• The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.
• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience: Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.
• License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
