We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our community committed to delivering outstanding patient care to our residents. As a CNA, you will play an important role in providing physical and emotional support and assistance that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you’ll do- Make frequent resident rounds to check the physical comfort, safety, and cleanliness of residents.
- Maintain compliance with Buckner policies and procedures and all regulatory requirements, state and federal laws.
- Assist with the appropriate implementation of the prescribed health care plan.
- Provide excellent, safe services in care and treatment, including bathing, feeding, oral care, intake of food, dressing, care of hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, and responding to calls.
- Provide a broad range of cleaning and sanitary services, including emptying and/or cleaning urinals, commodes, bedpans, showers, wheelchairs and other equipment.
- Accurately and timely document Activities for Daily Living (ADLs), intakes and outputs, and other appropriate information on charts.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Texas Nurse Aide Certification.
- Minimum one-year related experience.
- Knowledge of and ability to learn food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements.
- Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds continuously to move and assist residents.
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods and to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk over 75% of shift.
