Responsibilities Occupational therapists assess and develop therapy plans to restore patients abilities to perform everyday tasks. Establishing measurable goals, OTs help patients develop skills needed for day-to-day activities, demonstrating specialized equipment, and educating families and caregivers. - Valid professional license or registration as required by this state
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required
