Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring current state PT licensure and BLS/CPR certification.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required if applicable
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of experience preferred but not required
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English required; additional languages preferred
• Previous experience across all aspects of physical therapy preferred

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 36 beds
• Patient ratio of 5 to 6 patients
• Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients with neuro, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, amputee, and medically complex diagnoses
• Uses Wellsky EHR system
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend hours as needed
• No call or float requirements
• Oversees care provided by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Techs
• Assesses patient needs and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions
• Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to maintain professional standards
• Evaluates treatment effectiveness and progress toward short- and long-term goals, recommending changes to physician as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must be a cooperative team player
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
